What Do YOU Desire Most?

What if you wanted something so much that it dominated your mind. A desire so great it surpassed all other desires. That is the way that we, as Christians, need to be. We need to desire to be with Jesus and have more of him every day, every hour and every moment. We need to reach a point in our lives where we cannot face the day without being able to express our great love to Him. We need to reach a point beyond words where we spontaneously sing praises, offer prayers of all kinds, long to hear the still, soft voice of our loving Lord encouraging us to fight the good fight. We must reach the point in life when our desire is to share the truth that intimacy and an amazing relationship is not only possible but real. A point in life when it hurts more to miss a Sunday with God's family than the tiredness or busyness that often keep the faithful from attending church now.

If we are to truly be overcomers in this life, both in the physical and spiritual realms, we must reach a point of such desire for Jesus that we literally breathe in Jesus - 24/7. We pray without ceasing to grow deeper in love each moment and not only express our trust in him verbally but more importantly internally.

God really loves and values you for who you are-not what you have achieved or are attempting to achieve in life. He really loves you and Jesus Christ died on the Cross to prove it.

In 2024, take the challenge to seek to have your greatest desire to be that of Jesus. Let every thought be of how much He loves you and let that create the overwhelming desire that will help see you through every challenge you face
